Guaranteed Lay To Lose
From Monday 3rd September 2018, Sky Bet will be offering their customers a “Minimum Bet to Win” guarantee. This guarantee will be available on all Class 1 and Class 2 races and will apply from 10.00am on the day of the race. The following criteria will apply to this guarantee:
- The guarantee will be that all customers will be able to back their selections to win £500 in the main “Win” market in all qualifying races from 10am on the day of the race. For example £500 at evens, £250 at 2/1, £50 at 10/1 etc.
- This guarantee will only apply to the win part of all each way bets and will not apply to multiples.
- It will only apply to the main “Win” market for that particular race. Derived markets, Forecasts/Tricasts and Price boosts etc will not be included in this guarantee.
- Previous bets placed on the market will
count towards the total when the GMLTL is in place.
It’s J4P’s understanding that stake restricted customers won’t need to do anything to obtain the MBL, so no action is needed.
It’s also our understanding that if an account was previously fully closed by either the person or SkyBet the customer will need to contact SkyBet customer services. The reason for full account closure will dictate if the account can be re-opened (clearly this doesn’t apply to customers who self-excluded due to gambling disorder).
