Best of luck if you have the need to take up a dispute with a bookmaker. DO NOT let them bully you by quoting T&Cs that include wording similar to the following, “At our sole discretion.” Any wording like this is unfair based on the ‘Consumer Act’ (2015) as the wording provides ultimate power to the service provider and therefore will not stand up in a court of law. Another classic is, “Where a dispute is referred to our Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, the resulting decision shall be final and binding and you therefore will not have further recourse to the courts.” This is utter nonsense and gambling companies know this.
