Sky Bet

Post by edsisto » Sat Dec 29, 2018 1:44 pm

Hi,

Sorry for possible duplicate post but I can not find it from searching.

I remember seeing somebody on this forum saying that they were successful in keeping SkyBet accounts open, I have just lost 2 in a week and I wondered if anybody could offer me advice on what may help them last longer?

Cheers in advance.

Ed.

Hi Ed,

My memory is far from perfect, but I don't recall a post or posts like the one you mention. I maybe wrong?

The only certain way to keep any online bookmaker's account open is to lose. People on other forums have written loads about how to keep accounts open: https://www.olbg.com/bookmakers/article ... g-accounts (think what you wish about the adverts) & https://www.bettingrant.co.uk/how-to-ke ... open-26083 (think what you wish about the adverts). No point repeating the advice. However, the cold fact is, if you show signs of winnings (you don't have to win) your account will be restricted.

If you are doing anything that guarantees a profit, e.g. matched betting; your account will be shut very quickly with traditional bookmakers. We've written a lot on our website about trackers like Iovation (Skybet use it), which 'footprints' (takes the ID) all e-devices being used to gamble with bookies who subscribe. The bookies then use and share codes through the Iovation database to ID e-devices associated with 'good' gambling. If you're not blocking it and Threatmetrix (see website again) most new accounts you open will be restricted in days.

It is not for J4P to go into too much detail about semi-illegal sides of the web that can be used to extend the life of betting accounts, but just to say some people use them. Nevertheless, the large companies will always have better IT than 99.8% of the population. You'll lose the battle, however much you spend.

Perhaps not what you wanted to read, but I hope it helps?

Skybet accounts are almost impossible to keep, the CEO has even publicly stated they will not tolerate long term winners.

You are correct.

These interviews were setup intentionally to follow each other, i.e. our Founder immediately following Richard Flint. You may wish to listen?
