Re: Skybet

100% support for all of that Del. 99% of the time gambling companies don't care where money comes from if they're winning it. Incredible that government and their regulator have been so ineffective so far. At some point it will come back to bite them all. I hope I'm still alive.

Re: Also bet365

Hi, Thank you for your post. Your experience is very common here in the UK. Bet365 do give people a chance at times, unlike nearly every other bookmaker, but once you are restricted you're finished. The only likely exception to this is if you starting losing large amounts in their casino. If you are...

Re: Bet365

Thank you for doing that. Dependent on what you get back at a later date you may wish to send a letter to the Sports Minister Tracey Crouch and Tim Miller at the GC in Birmingham. They are two senior people who have the power to change things, but aren't. You'll be able to post striaght away now. JJ

Re: Bet365

Thanks for your post. That's modern bookmaking for you, show any sign of ability and the bookie that paid their CEO £219 million last year won't trade with you. It's an utter joke. We are campigning hard with the UK government and the regulator for change. They claim that one of their major aims is ...

Re: Skybet

Hi DS Thank you for your post. In law SkyBet has to prove that you have done what they claim, so you always have the small claims route if IBAS don't do their job correctly, e.g. take SkyBet's side with no concrete evidence for what they claim (see attached information leaflet). You are the only per...

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

I'm writing a piece for the website, but it will take a short while as we're getting written confirmation on a number of things that were said in the meeting, so I don't make any mistakes. Very briefly; the ICO admitted that gambling companies were breaching differing parts of privacy law frequently...

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Agreed. The ICO doesn't understand or worse, chooses not to understand, how Ladbrokes and others use data in ways they don't explain to their customers, which is an offence the ICO should be dealing with, but they don't.

Our meeting with them is now only 6-days away; it's going to be lively!

Re: Daily Loss Limit Fails to stop bets

Hi, Many thanks for your post. This would seem a serious social responsibility failure, so I would recommend you contact their CEO immediately. You may find the details on here ceoemail.com If nothing is found, check who the owners are and try again. If you still have no success ask the GC for detai...

Re: FSB TECHNOLOGY

Sadly, you are correct. The system is completely flawed.
