Re: bet365

Hi, Thank you for your post. Disappointingly, Bet365 have yet to show any signs of implementing even the most of basic ofa minimum liability bet for all, which is a sick reflection of gambling regulation in the UK and Ireland. One person, their CEO, was paid over £200 million last year and customers...

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Excellent post. A serious discussion is needed about the power and role of all regulators that may or may not have a role in the gambling industry. It all becomes very confused when anyhing challenging happens, often involving 'buck passing', which leaves the consumer alone and with no power unless ...

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Thanks for this and for doing it. 6-years is a new one on J4P. We've had 5, 7 and 10, but never 6 before. All the regulators are 'bottling it' at the moment, so as always the gambling companies prosper doing anything they wish irrespective of UK and EU law. It really is pathetic. We trying to setup ...

Re: Intouch games/ mfortune scam

Sadly, that is correct. Don't expect any co-ordination to help customers. May be you can copy and paste as much as possible?

Re: Skybet

Hi, This is very disappointing from a company that are making the 'right noises' in public about treating people fairly. I would have expected them to pay you or provide an evidenced reason why not by now. As you or I don’t have SkyBet’s side of the story there could be a good reason, but without op...

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Thank you for doing this.

Bookmakers are making it up as they go along. Some say five years, some say seven, even had a ten. Some quote one piece of legislation, some another. The whole thing is a joke.

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Many thanks for your post; very interesting. Please keep me informed of what happens next, because if the GDPR people at Totesport (Betfred) deny erasure you (we) have clear confirmation that they've done this purely to protect their profits. I'm presently unsure whether this is allowed under GDPR, ...

Re: Betway didn't pay out

If you're betting from the UK there are no big operators that don't ban people who win. It might be worth trying https://www.starsportsbet.co.uk/ or Blacktype? Bet365 often give people a decent go. We cannot recommend SportsPesa; we've seen too many complaints. Pinnacle are fine, but not from Britai...

Re: Intouch games/ mfortune scam

IBAS are not the best at responding, so you have to keep pestering them. There is no quality standard for their first response, but there is for full dispute process, which is a laughable 90-days.
