Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Hi Steve, Many thanks for posting this and for your hard work so far. This is no consolation yet, but this is great work. Yesterday, after months of trying we have succeeded in getting dates for a joint meeting with the ICO and the Gambling Commission regarding the use and abuse of data by online ga...

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Good man, they treat certain customers in this way, so give them some back.

Re: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Thanks for chasing this and your hard work. Interesting. They use iovation, so make sure you follow up asking if all data shared with 3rd parties has been deleted as well.

Re: FSB TECHNOLOGY

Please do let me know what happens, because we are preparing a dossier (not a dodgy one) on FSB Technology for submission to the GC. Basically we're fed up of getting complaints about the lack of clarity for coustomers of how their licence operates across numerous gambling brands. It appears to be v...

Re: FSB TECHNOLOGY

Nothing about your last two posts surprises me. Talking to the GC & DCMS about these matters is like banging your head against a brick wall. They both know that customer service is awful throuoghout the industry and use of T&Cs is unfair for many reasons including exploiting people and effectively b...

Re: FSB TECHNOLOGY

We've covered this ground already, but what the guy told you on the phone seems to be untrue, they do not impose a 10K limit on all customers - end off. Re, where next? Not good news I'm afraid. The law in the UK at present is that there is no 'right to bet' legally, so companies can trade with who ...

Re: FSB TECHNOLOGY

I can now categorically tell you that they did not apply this 10K rule when a person lost much, much more with some of the bookmakers working under their licence. I couldn't say earlier becuase these things need checking out. This person lost way above this without any checks on income whatsoever. D...

Re: FSB TECHNOLOGY

OK. Two things: 1. When you asked for your BlackType account to be closed that may have got listed as a self-exclusion? If it did and they've allowed you to continue gambling since on other sites on their platform; that's appalling. 2. More likely is what you've mentioned about 'Profit Maximiser'. I...

Re: FSB TECHNOLOGY

Interesting, I've never seen one of these requests before across the FSB platform/white licensing of multiple bookies by the Gambling Commission. If you are a losing customer this is a perfectly reasonable request and socially responsible as FSB are making sure your income can cover losses, with the...
